06Cookies and analytics

We do not set any analytics or advertising cookies until you choose to allow them. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you consent to analytics. Until you answer, and permanently if you decline, analytics storage stays switched off and no measurement cookies are written.

Strictly necessary cookies. A small number of cookies are required for the site to function and for security. These do not track you across sites and are not used for profiling. They are set without consent because the site cannot work without them.

Analytics. If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-P3871FR6RV) to understand which pages people find useful. It records the pages you visit, roughly how far you scroll, clicks on links that lead off our site, your approximate location at city level, and general device and browser information. IP addresses are truncated by Google before storage and are never available to us. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, we have not enabled Google Signals or ad personalisation, and we do not share this data with advertisers. Google acts as our processor for this data; its own handling is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

Withdrawing consent. Your choice is stored in your browser, not on our servers, so it is specific to that browser and device. To change it, clear this site’s stored data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again on your next visit. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser; the site works normally either way.

07Changes to this policy

We may update this policy at any time. Changes are posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
